Yu Yan
Yu Yan Tea Factory was founded in 1904 and is currently located at Wuyi Huaxia City, Gaosuban, Wuyishan Street, Wuyishan City. Madam Fan Youmei, the current tea factory director, was born into a tea-oriented family, inheriting the traditional process of Wuyi rock tea. She adheres to the charcoal roasting technique to ensure the aroma and taste of the rock tea in the best performance.
Besides promoting the culture of tea, Yu Yan hopes that the worldwide tea consumer has the chance to recognize the classic art of tea. In the year 2005, Madam Yu Xi Hua (the daughter of Mdm. Fan) came to Malaysia to establish the Le Ye Xuan Dahongpao company and operated the YuYan Dahongpao tea shop on the Jalan Sultan in the capital Kuala Lumpur. Nowadays, the tea shop has promoted three major types of tea, Wuyi Rock Tea, Jianyang White Tea, and TongMuGuan Black Tea.
