Dior (Level 3)

January 22 marks the beginning of the Chinese New Lunar Year. After celebrating the Tiger in 2022 with a limited edition of Grand Soir, Dior Timepieces is honoring the zodiac sign of the year 2023, the Rabbit, with an exquisite creation featuring an exceptional Métiers d’Art dial.

Among the twelve zodiac signs, the Rabbit is considered the luckiest of them all. In this Dior Grand Soir story, it is accompanied by a dragonfly taking flight, symbol of further luck.

Dior Grand Soir Year of the Rabbit depicts the zodiac animal jumping into a poetical interpretation of the iconic Dior toile de Jouy. Vegetal elements have been recreated through several stratums of gold and mother-of-pearl, delicately cut and textured. This layering effect adds depth and light while the blue aventurine becomes a star-studded sky, bringing even more magic. This dreamy dial is delicately crowned by a bezel set with scintillating cut diamonds.

Dior Grand Soir Year of the Rabbit is unveiled in a numbered limited edition of 88 pieces, another symbol of luck, and joins the collection of special Dior Chinese New Year Timepieces, alongside the Dior Grand Soir Year of the Tiger.

The caseback is also engraved with the Chinese inscription “China Sichuan ‘Gong Ga Rui Xia’”.
