In a joyful ceremony today, Pavilion KL awarded a Pavilion Experience Worth RM20,000 to En. Azizulhasni Awang for his recent accomplishment in winning the men’s keirin gold medal in the 2017 UCI Track Cycling World Championship in Hong Kong.

In conjunction with honouring En. Azizulhasni, Pavilion KL will encourage Malaysians to lead a healthier lifestyle by promoting cycling within the city during KL Carfree Mornings on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. The Chulan Entrance of the mall will be converted into a bicycle parking zone and the newly-opened Mercato Café will provide free coffees to the first 100 customers during those days.

The ceremony kick-started with an awe-inspiring video of En. Azizulhasni’s sportsmanship and accomplishment during the World Championship on the large LED screen along Bukit Bintang before he was invited onstage for a speech and group photo with Pavilion KL management. The track rider was then presented with a mock cheque of RM20,000 consisting of the Pavilion KL shopping experience at Fashion Avenue and a cash incentive.
