From now until the 31st of July 2018, come revel in all things Japanese under one roof at Pavilion KL with four dedicated experiential zones – Taste of Japan, Entertainment, Travel & Education, and Art & Culture – guaranteed to give you unforgettable excitement all month long. Get your game on with a bevy of Japanese arcade games and machines, participate in fun, Japanese-themed workshops such as Taby House Painting and Zen Bonsai, as well as take pictures with giant LINE Dolls displays and cute mascots from Warbie and Sylvanian Families.
Organised by G-Yu Creative Company, the exciting Japan Expo Malaysia 2018 (JEMY 2018) takes place from the 27th to 29th July 2018 and brings a bolder, fresher line up of Japanese celebrities, booths and exhibitions.
Popular for his viral song, PPAP or better known as “Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen”, Pop Sensation PIKOTARO makes a comeback to Malaysia and this exhilarating event with the launch of a brand new song. Enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see PIKOTARO perform live and meet-and-greet this energetic viral-hit Japanese star.
There will also be special performances and appearances by You Kikkawa, misono, LADYBABY, ChocoLate Bomb, THE SIXTH LIE and METROPOLIS de ONELIA to name a few. This exciting line up of artistes and teen idol groups from Japan will be sure to recreate an immersive celebrative atmosphere for every Japanese fan.
Visitors will also get the chance to rub shoulders with famous cosplayer Hiroyuki-Mitsume Takahash, movie actor Shogen, and singer Ryuji Aoki among others. If you’re looking for an ‘Infinite Japan’ experience, this is definitely the event to be seen at.

Gindaco, Level 1
World-famous, piping hot takoyaki balls is made with premium wheat flour and octopus filling with a choice of four variants – Original, Negidako, Cheese Mentaiko and Teritama. Takoyaki isn’t the only dish on the menu. Gindaco also serves mouth-watering yakisoba lightly fried with cabbage, chicken slices, dried green seaweed and bonito flakes.
