June 16, 2016

KUALA LUMPUR, 16 JUNE 2016

In conjunction with Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Pavilion KL, Malaysia’s premier shopping destination, in partnership with Television Networks, Media Prima Berhad, today launched ‘Laman Idaman’ – a celebration inspired by the joy of the festival. In this partnership, Television Networks, Media Prima Berhad will bring its ‘Syukur Selalu’ festivity into Pavilion KL’s ‘Laman Idaman’, where shoppers will experience a radiant celebration of the true Malaysian festival at the Centre Court where an illuminating garden of traditions await.

The celebration was off to an energising start as shoppers, media and tourists witness the ‘Laman Idaman’ come alive with the launch ceremony by Ms Joyce Yap, CEO of Retail, Pavilion KL and Datuk Kamal Khalid, Chief Executive Officer, Television Networks, Media Prima Berhad. With a touch of a button on a giant remote control, they ignited the festival by switching on the LED screen at the Centre Court, a gesture to illustrate the bonding ties between the mall and the media company.

The launch was followed by an engaging conversation between the presenter of the morning – television host Nazrudin Habibur Rahman, and 5 Syukur Selalu Ambassadors – Fasha Sandha, Janna Nick, Amar Aysraf, Hafidz Roshdi and Raja Afiq, who shared anecdotes of their Hari Raya celebration, much to the delight of the crowd. A ‘Laman Idaman’ dance performance greeted the crowd right after, where dancers enthralled the crowd with their creative choreography. Tokens of appreciation were also given out to the official partners of the campaign, namely Television Network – Media Prima Berhad, Public Bank and BMW.

“Hari Raya is a festive celebration that is not just for families but the entire community. Here at Pavilion KL, we are always looking to present events that will create an unforgettable shopping experience for all in the mall.
